i want to black out my bike. i know i can get a plastic kit in all black for it, but what about all the little things like brake and shock guards rear tire splash guard etc. can i dye these? whats the best way to turn these white plastics black?
Plastics are non-porous and would therefore not really be "dyable". Your best bet would be to paint them using a paint specifically designed for plastic.
Plastic Bond enamel made by Plasti-Kote works really well.
Just make sure to prep the plastic properly, ie. dirt & grease free, etc.
