Well a few months back I picked up a used dynoport pipe. First impressions vs the FMF pipe -- much stronger/thicker pipe to start with. The steel is 2 or 3x as thick as the thin gauge FMF pipe.

After jetting the bike properly with a few rides (38/155/2nd clip stock needle, 2 turns on the airscrew) the bike flies! Now the cylinder is ported with the KX headgasket (thinner), VforceII reeds and FMF turbin2 core silencer. Wheelies in 3rd gear any time, any throttle, any speed. More top end, more bottom end and a much more violent hit to the bike!

For durability, well will the front wheel in the air more than usual, I ran into a few small trees off the trail yesterday at about 20-40mph. small trees, but the pipe does not have one dent in it! the Protapers survived without issue also, but the front fender did not.

Anyhow, if you are thinking pipe, dynoport. With the VforceII it is a killer power band!

They do have sale on the pipes and one for the KDX motor in the KX frame there!!!
