Just before Xmas my 92 KDX200 back wheel locked up whilst riding on
the roads on my way for an off road day. The engine was fully ceased
and having spit the box the Crank bearing was in pieces. So I replace
both of the end bearings and as I has the thing in bits also decided
to replace the piston , rings, and a full new gasket set.
So put it all back in and fired it up , checked the oil was flowing
and after running it up in the garage decided to take a run , 1/2
mile the thing locked up !!! so back to the workshop for a full strip
down and the same bearing had failed !
Faulty bearing I thought as the crank was all okay and dead straight.
replace the bearings again and this time it lasted about a mile
before the same thing happened.
Has anybody experienced the same problems or able to point me in the
right direction. A friend sugested it may be that the crank cases are
twisted ?
And if you know what the problem is do you know where i can the bits
to fix it !
Thanks
