engine repair

i diddnt know where to put this so if it needs to go some where else move it. ok so i was wondering how much it should be to put the main bearings in a ktm 125 sx, i usually do my own engine work but i figured i get it done professionally since im racin it. the shop around here said around 400. is that a little much? and im would just drop the engine off so its not like im takin the whole bike there. any info would be great thanks

Sounds about right you figure they buy the bearing at there cost
Bearings 120
gaskets and seals 75
labor 200
sounds about right for a shop

A buddy of mine just dropped off the bottom end of his motor (no cylinder or piston) and his own bearings/seals and they charged him 120 to r&r the parts.
