exaust spooge

I picked up a used KX 125 it is blowing black spooge out the seam where the exuast and the combustion chamber connect it has a FMF combustion chamber and looks like a stock exaust is this normal if not what might be a fix for this problem is it time for a new exaust

What do you mean by an FMF combustion chamber? :think: Are you saying it has an FMF exhaust pipe and a stock silencer? Newer KX's have springs where the two parts meet to seal them together. I used a large zip tie on my older KX to accomplish the same thing.
