I have a new 01 KDX 200 and I was wanting to install black excel rims with fat spokes. Reason, I have heard that the stock rims stink.

Can I get the entire assembly (rim, spokes, hub) for a KDX or do I have to buy KX stuff? If I just got the rims, how hard is it to lace them up yoursefl?

Also, I would love to get a new front set-up to eliminate the ODO hub extra's.

Thanks.

It is doable. I make a lacing stand from an extra swingarm I had and used White Bro's stainless steel spokes (fatter than stock, and cheaper) and it worked well. I checked tension several times after and adjusted as nessessary. I also put antisieze on all the spoke threads. I sold the bike to a guy in Columbus, Oh and at last communication wheel was still good. I bought the spokes from Kevins for $52.00.
