I've got a 99 CR250 that needs a replacement exhaust pipe, but I want to keep the stock silencer. Will any aftermarket exhaust pipes fit?

Most all should work with your stock silencer, no problem.

BTW, the stock '99 pipe is very good - you might be able to find a used one cheap, or get yours repaired for much less than a new pipe. I bought a '99 set up for offroad, and it came with a spare pipe - an FMF gold series. The seller was a former pro MX racer and top offroad rider, and he preferred the stocker.

I also prefer the stock exhaust, but I can't find a stocker anywhere!! The one I have now is beyond repairable (freeze method gone bad)

I am running an fmf silencer with a stock pipe, so that works. Running an aftermarket pipe with a stock silencer should work as well. You might need to rejet it, as i have been told.
