I've got my 2000 YZ250 and just changed the top end last weekend. After I was all said and done with the bike running, I noticed a gasket that would fit on the Reed block. I checked the Yamaha Manual and they don't have a gasket shown on the exploded view diagram. I know that on the carb side, the intake manifold is made of rubber and on the cylinder side of the reed block, there is a rubber type of seal permanently adhered to the RB frame. Does anyone think I need to take everything back apart and add this gasket? At first I didn't even notice it in the pack, and Yamaha does not have it in their diagrams. What should I do??

The gasket maker may of had a preproduction model to pull the gaskets from. Honda did this all the time. if you have no leeks and it does not show on the yamaha manual then I say run it without.

I guess I'll just leave it out.
