??? famous old backyard MX race 80's with xr engines

Does anyone rember this race? I think it was called hangtown or something like that. Those guys where years ahead of the pitbike craze.

I found it. It was Langtown and I guess they started running bbr's and stuff the last rew years. When I was a kid it was 80's stuffed with xr engines.

I was just wondering about that race the other day. You used to hear about it every year, they always had some pretty big names show up. I haven't seen anything on the Langtown backyard supercross in a few years now.

RedBud has an XR75 race every fall during the grass race. Some very highly modified machines show up. Jeff Stanton, Mike LaRocco, Dick Burleson etc all race it.
