Just because someone is blazing fast on a 125 doesn't mean they'll do the same on a 250 right out of the box. There's a definate learning curve. I do believe because of the raw talent JBS posseses it'll be a shorter curve for him, but all that extra horsepower presents new problems!

Yeah; the development of the YZ400f and the YZ250f have nothing to do with it!!

It's really kinda funny; Yamaha having to teach Honda how to build a four-stroke. :laugh:

That'll be the last ya-MA-ha they ever send over here!

Wait 'til Honda's 250F is here in a few months--we'll find out who's teaching who. :p

Read Coombs' brief neophyte write-up. If it weighs 206 pounds, revs past 13,000 and doesn't have to spin dual cams (and chains)--it probably won't be close.

But Nephron;

I have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and . . . . well . . . . I am tired of waiting!

I will say that the 450 Honda is a now a pretty nice piece (if you like beer cans) and I am sure that the 250 will be OK; but does anyone remember the Honda slogan; "Follow the Leader"? :p
