Silver Creek (NW of NewBerry)
The stuff around Kinross looks like fun; I've hit a couple mountain goat paths that may/may not have been part of that loop that scared the hell out of me (a couple years ago). I'd like to go back and ride them all now.

The single track we ran on SDM last summer into the mining company private property (SandStormer's enduro trails, I think) were cool. The AA moon rock section dang near killed me - or at least I thought I was going to die.

Anyone ever climb Ski-park hill just out of West Branch?  Can you still do that or is it shut down?

There was a great trail heading out of there that was a real roller coaster.  Similar to one that was already described in this thread.  You could fly over the crests of the hills and coast down the back sides.  Tons o fun!  :)  I think this trail headed in a northly direction, somewhat parallel to the train tracks.  That would be trail heading towards St. Helens.

The trail going east out of West Branch towards Rose City was pretty good too.  I rode up there before they shut down the bowl on each side of the road going into Ambrose lake.

You guys are killing me with this Michigan trail talk.  I need to road trip up there to go riding with you guys.   I'm working on the details.  I may make one of the National Enduros.

Tim, with the recent addition to the family (congrats again) I do not expect that you will be making the trip to Missouri for the National enduro.  However, if you can make it to Michigan in July or August, we will definitely make plans to go riding.

I never rode a trail I didn't like.
But some of my favorites are:
Drummond Island, there's some cool trails on this island, some real technical stuff and some just buzzing down the two track stuff, I like the tech stuff best.
Going out to Glen cove is cool, but I thing my favorit ride is the one that goes to Marble head, WOW, there is this big rock wall that looks like 3 foot stairs on one end, it's intimidating at first but it's a cool climb once you figure it out.
One time when I was up there I saw a guy putting around in the water with a KDX 200 or 220 I don't remember, but anyway he was in about a foot of water and next thing you know his bike almost disappeared, nothing but the handle bars were sticking out. He got out and we helped him getting going.

Sandtown, east of Newberry is a nice ride.
Silvercreed west of Newberry is a nice trail, but last time I rode it a lot of the markers were down, and if you didn't know where you were going it would have been easy to get lost.

There's another trail I rode last year in the U.P. I think it was called the Two Hearted River Trail, I really enjoyed that one it's not to tough but it's scenic and you can take it right to Lake Superior. There are places on the trail to get gas, food, and drink if you want.

I would have to put Evart as one of my favorites, it's not just the trail some of it is the memories, I've had some good rides with some good friends on the trail. I have way to many miles logged in on that one, well on second thought maybe not.

You know the problem is the longer I sit here and think about it the more favorite trails I can think of. I don't know if it is addiction or love, either way I'm hooked.
