Final moment of mx547 last race

I didn't know I had taken this pic until I was sorting through my files tonight. This was taken July 13, 2002 at Village Creek the night myself, tx246 & mx547 met up for a little night racing. Jay was looking real good as he dissapeared behind the jump so I poised myself ready to snap a shot when he came back into sight. Out of the corner of my eye I notice a rider slowly making his way toward the pro medic mule (which you can see in the background). It was Jay. :(

I'm sorry I didn't get a picture of you Gene, we were in the same class. If you want to try it again, I'll sign up for a different class and snap a pic of your mishap. ;)

that's cool in a macabre sort of way. it's hard to believe i could ride off the track and now eights months later, i'm barely walking again. :(

i have turned the corner on this-new '04 when available. :)
