Here is our property back in 1993. The dark back spot in the center is our pond. The field towards the top next to I-80 is where my track is now. The house, shop and barn are lower center.

OK TJ, I'll bite. This is my family's farm.

the major road that runs east and west divides it. Most of the farm is on the norther side with the barn just north of the intersection with the east west road. If you look left from the road that comes up from the South, there is a building at the intersection ( a diner) a small field, and then my house. The field just west of the house is where my practice track is now.

Wish they would take new color photos of our place. I used this site years ago to scout terrain for hunting. Works pretty good.

To the left and down of the 'push pin' in the center is the field with the house, shed, garage, and what not. It is now level flat grass no longer rutted from farming (no ridding on that :( ). Again from that same push pin back to the creek and following the road as far left as you can see on the picture is the land. Directly across from the white house is my little track, other then that I have a loop of trails going through the narrow woods (wish they were thicker). I have my fun :). Man how much has change since that picture.

This is my parent's neighborhood. At the bottom part of the map you can see Pacific Raceway (which is slowly being rebuilt).

here is our old practice track:

the track was on government land. it got closed off about three years before this aerial was taken. the track was grown over by then but you can pick out some of the layout by the way the vegetation had grown back, appearing darker than its surroundings. the big sweeper curves are easy to see. this track was fun. it was 1.44 miles in length and had a little bit of everything, tabletops, whoops, sweepers, hairpins, berms, trees, and even a creek jump. the best thing about it was that it was only about four miles from my house. we had people from as far as two hours away come there to ride. i miss it. :ugg:
