Fixin fork fluid leaks FOR FREE

I heard that if your fork seals are leaking, that you can take a tear off or something like a buisiness card, wrap it around the fork tubes and push up on the seal to reseat it. people say this stops the leaking! :yikes:

I think a business card may be a little thick. Have you heard of the film strip method?
Try using a piece of film strip, wrapping it around the fork tube and sliding it up between the seal and the tube (Do not leave it there). In many cases, small particles of dirt make it past the dust seal and can get lodged bewteen the seal and the tube causing a minor leak. If it is a leak caused by a bad seal, replacing the seals is the best bet, or possibly try this:

you can also replace the bushings when the dirt you just shoved up inside the seal wears them out
