OK, I have finally learned my lessons. Flat tire gods be praised! I will obey your commands, I will carry all necessary tools, I WILL NOT TRY TO CHEAT your required ceremony of removing tires/tubes and repairing them properly in the middle of the desert.....

4 weeks ago wife gets flat tire on tw200 in desert. Hey, we got slime in the rear tire and CO2 cartridges to fill tire back up. No problem, right? Get out 300 feet towards home, no more air in tire, no more CO2 Cartidges. Lots of walking and cursing, 2 of us jump on my bike. go get truck. park truck way far away from bike because the 4 wheel drive does not work. Walk bike back to truck, finally get bike home.

Moral of the story----Large nail beats Slime tire sealer.

Yesterday wife riding ttr250 for first time, me riding her tw200 in case she doesnt like the ttr 250. Pssssssss Another rear flat on the tw200! Well, from my first lesson, I actually had tube repair kit, tire irons, and everything to fill tire up. But I did not FEEL like screwing with it. We were not to far from civilization, I ask wife to go to gas station and get fix-a-flat. She returns and then I ask....Should I properly repair the flat, or try and cheat the Flat tire gods. Well I cheated and I lost, got about 300 feet and flat again. Plus you cant patch A tube with that stuff in it anyway.

I have learned and repented!

You can beat the flat tire gods and it's pretty easy. Just hang around with Farmer John slayer of flats and patcher of tubes. :)

I hate flats too. I got a flat on my boat trailer the other morning. It was a fine time to find out that the jack for my truck was not tall enough to jack up the trailer.:(

Here's an even better method than pushing or walking back to the truck: Sit on motorcycle, start, ride back to truck.

Ta-da! You can ride on a flat tire as long as you take it easy and keep the speeds down. I've run a flat tire for the majority of a race before with no damage save for a wasted bead on the tire.

Oh great flat tire gods , he does not mean it, he is mearly showing how NOT to do it! :) Please don't strike him or me down! We will always obey, and remove tires and repair tubes properly!.

ON a tw200 the rear tire is like an atv tire, the sidewall is tall! believe me, we tried riding it flat (Flat tire gods forgive me!) It immediately goes into a 45 degree angle(front tire strait, rest of bike pointing 45 degress left or right.) and it takes more muscle to control than walking with it(engine idling in first gear).
