float bowl welded on!!!!!

I cant get the float bowl off my carb. been on there a while
I guess and seems to have glued itself there.

Any tips????

Did you take the 17mm cap off of the bottom? Sometimes they have to come off first.

no I did not, I was thinkng that it was just access for the
main jet. It was on my last bike.

good thing I didnt get the hammer out!!

Not a problem... I have one bike that it needs to come off of first.. the rest don't.. Not sure what's up with that.

Make sure to use a wooden or soft mallet and just lightly tap on it. I would suggest getting a new gasket for it too, don't use silicone it is dissolved by the fuel.
