I have a 03 YZF 450,I am interested in putting a flywheel weight on. Does anyone have any experience with this. if so what weight and brand. I was kind of leaning towards a bolt on one so that i could always take it off if it didn't work out.
Check out www.steahlyoffroad.com . I know Chuck bought a 03 YZ 450 to use as a test mule to design his flywheel weights. I don't know whether they are the bolt on variety though, sorry. Check the website.

I have a 2003 YZ450F that I installed a 10 oz bolt on flywheel weight from Steahy. It does tame the bike down and it's never come loose in the year I've used it.
I bought one from Dubach Racing, they send you a complete flywheel with the weight installed and you send them your stock flywheel. You have 3 different weights to chose from. I feel it made a nice difference at log rpm. http://www.dubachracing.com/
