FMF AOF ignition on '01 MXC 250

I have heard a lot of good information about these ignitions, my question is; will the hit be too abrupt for woods riding? Has anyone used one on the MXC/EXC 250? I have heard it works wonders on the 200.
Finally... FMF's website says it can be used with your PC, does this mean it is programable?

Yes, they are programable and they will give you serious moto power.
Of course you'd have to purchase the software and kit I figure or the in the field unit. There seems to be no noticeable difference in the two settings as far as the 200 units go.
Wolff May hook you up with re-mapping at a US based service center being that FMF won't give any support.

I'm not sure how this unit would benefit a 250 woods rider unless he wanted moto power for the open areas?

You could contact Berg Racing and he could re map the Wolf so you have a very mellow wood's style of mapiing and leave the power setting alone for open areas. The phone number is 714 754 1918
