I bought a new FMF Fatty pipe for our King Cobra and it bolt up just fine but the end that slides in to the silencer was 3 inches to low and 1 inch to far end so I left it bolted up to the head and the frame (up front) and then heated it and bent it up and over to where it need to go. That work great. But somebody told me that the pipe could be in a bind and it could do damage to the pipe from vibrations. Is this true???

Just make sure that the stinger tube is bent such that it points directly at the silencer inlet, and you should be okay. The advise you received is good...you don't want the pipe's header to be binding in any way...that will shorten pipe life and cause leaks.
