fmf pipe

I have recently installed a fmf pipe on my kdx and noticed that it gets hotter to the touch when you ride than my stock pipe did is this normal?

An after market pipe is much thinner then a stock pipe. Mine does the same thing, nothing to worrie about....

The stock pipe is doublewalled.

The FmF isn't.
