They do list one specific to your bike. I believe you have to buy them that way so they will have the mounting tabs in the correct location. I have one on my 99 and it sounds good. Mine is actually one of the quieter silencers I've heard.

shorty

The shorty is meant to assist the bottom to mid range of the power curve, it may have a small negative effect on overrev, loud bikes are slow bikes, dont do like billy odenseski down the street and pull the packing, you need that stuff in there. Its a good set up for a 125 mx bike on most tracks especially with a fatty hooked up front.

wat does that mean? also i dont race i use it for mostly trial riding. So if i put the shorty on it will increase the mid to bottom end ?

Yes. BTW, Why are you looking to make your bike louder?

A fatty pipe is an aftermarket exhaust pipe, also made by FMF, and is rather good equipped with the shorty, but dont dont ever try to make your bike loud....for everyones sake....2-strokes are already decreasing in popularity and could soon be banned due to excessive sound and whatnot so try to keep it as neighbor friendly as possible

put an fmf gold series fatty on it with a fmf powercore 2 shorty. i did it for my bike and it is an animal in the trails and does awsome wheelies

in trails don't you need a spark arrestor? i have had an FMF Q on a CR 80 a CR 125, and my YZ 125 and have no nbegative effects in my mind plus its quiet and most importantly legal

spark arrestor? Ok so i've heard of them. Why would you need one though? on my yz250, I've never seen sparks coming out my exhaust (hope I never do) just smoke. granted "spark arrestor" is soem generic term, then what are they actually doing? the exhaust is relatively cool when it exits, so is it just bureaucracy (sp)?

I'm hoping for a quieter bike. I ordered a FMF Tubincore II (not the Q, wasn't available for my bike), it will replace the FMF shorty. I live in the country, and while sound travels, I had my wife riding around on the CR125 and and when she would ride to the other end of the pasture, I couldn't hear the bike (of course she isn't ripping aorund on it). That was with the Shorty. I'm getting the Turbincore as previously mentioned, they are required at a lot of places if you want to ride, such as Chadwick.

ok i must be retarded or something because i swear every single four stroke i ever ride with is so defening loud i practically have to let them go ahead just so i can hear my bike. i have a gnarly pipe with a shorty silencer.

DAMN THE MAN!!!! POWER TO THE 2-STROKE!!!!
