The engine is the NX/XRL engine. A good reliable piece but no where near as interesting as the 650R engine or the CRF. Still it's a good first step for both Honda and Suzuki (DRZ400S based bike). Low risk to test the market, and maybe buy them some time to build something a bit more serious. Keep your fingers crossed. ;)

If I wanted one of those, I'd get a XR400 and a Baja kit. :ride:

The DRZ is no match for the YZF/CRF 450s.

I didn't mean that bike, I meant that treatment to an existing 450 mxer. As Rich said, hopefully they will move in that direction.

You would think the 650 or the 450 would be a more interesting choices than the NX engine. I'm sure they were going for longevity with that NX engine...less power = less maintenance.

...my fingers are crossed for next step.

well,it s not a bad boy...it s very quite and also underpowered.
it s a low cost model,i think it will be a success because here in Europe there s few money around......
