Fooling around with Infrared effects

I was checking out the condition of one of my bicycle training areas today and brought my camera along. It seemed like a perfect setting to test out some software based Infrared effects.
It's obvious I still have a lot to learn about infrared. :whoa:

HMMMM!!! LOL. IR is something that gets a photog going in a totally new direction :)

the pics look good, but I think I have to actually know what IR images are supposed to look like hehehe.

What kind of bike training?? Winter roadbiking in Chicago??

Winter road bicycling when the ground is dry and the temp is above the single digit mark. :ohmy:

I've never seen as much of that down there. Is it taking off?

Here it has become almost common place.... It's like once a few nuts did it everyone took their bikes out all winter long. I just take my "tank" as I call it. Too cold for me on the LOOK.

It seems like mostly cyclecross and mountain bikers most of the time. These days I stick mostly to the deer trails and fire roads in the winter time. I spent enough time bouncing off the pavement for one lifetime. ;)
