Can someone try to describe how the bottom of the fork boot mounts to the fork? (1990 kdx200) Where does the clamp/ziptie sit? Below the groove (in between the groove and the flared part), in the groove, or above the groove?

My daystar boots collapse around the forks, because the inside diameter of the boots fit tight against the thick part of the bottom of the forks. This allows air to be forced out, but none is able to get back in.

Anyone else seen this? Anyone understand what I'm talking about? :blah: thanks everyone.

I put it on the top of the lower leg so the air holes could breath. I had the same problem when I first put them on my 90 model. They still suck in some but it is much better.
