Frame swap?

Are the frames of a 2001 KX250 and a 2002 KX250 able to be swaped without issue?

i am not sure. but what you can do is go to bikebandit.com or someother place that you can get a diagram of the two frames and check to see if the bolts that hold it to the frame match up. there will most likely bee enough room in the frame for the motor.
