I've got a '90 KDX200 with FMF pipe/silencer, Boyesen reeds, airbox lid removed, and correctly jetted PWK35 Air Striker carb. The bike runs great, but I'd like to get the power to come on earlier instead of trying to time the "hit" correctly coming out of slow corners. It sounds like the FRP torque ring (as seen on Fredette's page) might be a step in that direction. Has anyone here used one and if so, how significant was the effect?
