Mine have nice grooves where the pegs dig in and almost through on one side :ahhh:

This the new trend, soles wear out buy new boots? Not that I mind buying new stuff but there's sooooooooo many other things I'd rather buy since they still look really good.

Is this the SG-10's? I can't imagine how many hours riding you have in or how sharp your pegs would have to be to wear out the soles on the SG-10's.

No kidding. I've got over a whole season on my SG-10s, and that is standing on the Moose extra wide pegs. And those puppies are not dull.
I think you can use the Alpinestar sole? Are you wearing the SG-1?

If it's the SG-10, I think they do sell the whole bottom sole for the boot, but I'm guessing it is a different or older model of Gaerne that you need fixed? What model? If all else fails - there is a contact us form on www.gaerne.com and maybe they can point you in the right direction.

Yes they are the SG10's , I think they are around 1 1/2 ys. old. I don't ride all that much, lucky to get a ride in once a week. The worst damage is on the right boot maybe from pivoting for the brake so much? There looks to be a center section of the sole that can be replaced separately?
Thanks Nikki, I'll try that.

You can definitely buy them as I just bought a set to replace the soles on my Oxtars. They are full soles, not inserts. Check with Tucker Rocky as Nikki suggested, if they stock them at distributors in Canada, they'll surely stock them at TR. If not, check with 661 Racing Canada mechanixwear@telus.net
