My son's PW80 is only a couple of months old. Since it was new, it leaks gas out of the carb overflow tube. I can see it as he is riding past me. I adjusted the carb slightly to keep it from flooding everytime it was started. The dealer is no help what-so-ever. Any ideas????

Sounds like float level and/or leaking float needle valve. You might have a piece of grit in the needle seat preventing it from sealing completely, and/or the float level could be set too high allowing a fuel level high enough to overflow.

I agre with bilglou. I would inspect for blockage at the inlet, and raise float level by 1mm. This is of course if the dealership will not honor the warranty. In that case I would call the bike maker directly and file a complaint. Just remember to take names and dates of all your dealership discussion concerning your bike and its problems.

Thanks for the advise. I will pull the carb this weekend. Oh, and the dealer will be happy to look at it, for a small (I mean large) fee.

The float may be stuck. Give the base of the carby a solid tap with a hammer or pick up the back end of the bike and drop it to try and free it up. If that fails, pulling the bottom of the carby off and reinstalling usuall works for me.
