Gear Box Question

My KDX seems to have ATF in the gear box.
Is this ok or should I consider switching to regular gear box oil?
If I do switch, am I going to have trouble getting all the ATF out?
I used to run ATF in some of my earlier 2-strokes without problems, but am curious what you guys think.

Wolf,

we have run Type F ATF in Troy's KX80 without any issues for the last season. If you like the way it shifts stick with it, if not change it over to something of your preference. As for getting all the ATF out I would just run a few litres of Oil through as a flush before putting the plug back in a filling it up.
