general fork questions

hey my forks on my sx 125 are stickey, when i bought the bike the guy had sucked them all the way down and they were like that for at least 3 hours and they started leaking.
i am wondering how much oil to use?
and how to tell if i need revalving or anything?
any other general things i should know would be appreciated

Do you think Valving is a realistic question at this point? Get them working mechanically sound first, then if at all worry about the other stuff.

Riding and bike maintenance is about priorities, and with a 02 SX, keep it simple and enjoy making what you got work.
