My 200 (new and stock, rejetted) smokes a little at idle, and leaves a thin blue puff when called on hard.

In regard to temps, on an 80 degree day, I can touch the head and expansion chamber for a one count, and the top of the radiator and silencer for a two count.

Does this sound about normal? I realize these are lame questions, but I ride with a crew of four strokes and have nothing to compare it to. Thanks for the help.

Sure. Just fine.

That said, there isn't a 'normal' quantitative measurement for 'smoke'. It will vary by type of oil, ratio, engine tune.....all sorts of things.

I wouldn't worry about engine temps unless you have reason to suspect a problem...like consistent or numerous overheats (coolant boiling or cap letting off steam) for no particular reason.

You will get an overheat situation from time to time.

At any rate, your one-two count temp reads aren't anything to worry about.
