Watching VH1 now 0830 playing back Harrison stuff from 1997 interview. As with Lennon, he will be missed and remembered as a crusader for peace. The benefit concert for Bangladesh was the first of its' kind and yes, I had the 8 track too. I'm sure he has lived a life some of us can only dream of and used his fame to try to make the world a better place for everyone. We will realize the huge loss as we watch the tributes for the next weeks and years.
As he said "all things must pass."

Sad to see him go. I'm not the biggest Beatles fan, but I appreciate what they've done. Now we've lost 2 Beatles and 2 Travelling Wilburys. :(

I have to wonder if he'd still be with us if that freak hadn't broke in to his place and hurt him so bad a short time ago. But I don't think he was all that well to begin with.

One of my earliest childhood memories is listening to Beatle records. I was (and still am) a huge Beatles fan. This whole thing has got me down.

Ya, and I bet the same guy went out and bought VH 1st album 1984, you know the one with jump on it.

And I bet bon jovi would'nt say that.

George will be missed but I guarantee he's in a better place now. The Beatles were so instrumental to American culture and the rest of the world.

Detrimental? Maybe instrumental to American culture.

Early GH stuff... remembering from my youth... "My Sweet Lord" next line... "I really want to see you, I really want to be with you".

Peace George.

One of the true innovators in rock and roll, as were all of the beatles. May their music live on in our hearts and minds.
God Bless George... Thanks for a lifetime of memories

Good tunes.

When I got married I got stuck with some stupid tune from "an officer and a gentleman" I hate that movie.

This was a Hari Krishna song, get to hear the whole mantra at the end of the song - very sweet song, one of my favorites.
