93-97 will be interchangeable for many parts with exception to front suspension which went to 50mm right side up Marzocchis in 97, plus rear KTM wheels have been the same for years

They did a switch to Kokusan ignitions in 95 or 96, before that they used SEM's.

Might be buying a KTM!!

I hope to have the money from selling my car in a few weeks and I might be buying my buddy's bike!! It is an 04' 525SX. I couldn't pass it up when he told me he only wants $2000 for it. I am more of a 2 stroke guy but this seems like too good of a deal. I may ride it for the summer and then sell it. What is the average asking price for these bikes?

I guess this is pretty much a rant but I am so stoked right now!!

NADA or Kelly Blue Book will kave your price. That sounds like a good deal, is that a street legal model? I wish my 440 was, but it would cost a thousand bucks to put on an electric ignition, lights, etc. Unless any one knows a cheaper way? Gas SUCKS right now with know hope for the future.
