getting to big for a 250f?? any help?

i weight about 165-170 and i ride a crf250r i am a fast c rider looking for some more power. i came across a yz144 and was wondering if it has more power than a 250f? i dont know if i am ready to handle a 250 2-stoke or a 450 but what do you guys think?

Well, the bike won't go any faster than what your right wrist will let it. If you are a fast C rider than you are probably more than capable of riding a 250 or 450f. It's up to you. As for whether or not the 144 is faster than your 250f, im not sure.

Peak power should be similar if both bikes are properly set up. The 250f will have a broader power band and more low end torque. Try a high compression piston and porting/cam. Should wake the little thumper up nicely!
