Gilmer, TX WORCS Race
Spoke to trail boss Gary Hazel (of Thumper Racing) this week and he said Sunday's Pro race will consist of 3 (or 4?) 14 mile long loops.
He estimates top riders will have approx. 40 minute lap times (averaging around 20 mph +/-.)
Even though the Pro course is very technical it can still be ridden, even with an XR 100, which Gary used during course layout.
Sounds like another Moose Run.
I wonder how the West coast riders are going to adapt to this?
I think this East / West WORCS thing is going to play a BIG part in the future of off-road racing.
