Roczen destroys the field only to have his forks blow-up. I cant recall the last time I saw that happen?

I was at the Silverdome for an SX race way back when and McGrath broke the triple trees on his bike landing a jump. It was pretty surprising to see and at the time I couldn't remember a fork failure of that magnitude since the 70s. They are so rare that they really seem to stand out. I wish I could remember the year on McGrath's deal.

Seems the team had drilled a hole to install some kind of sensor. They say they wont be doing that again. :confused:
