got a new chain

i bought a renthal chain and its 120 links, mine is 112, can i remove some of the links? the links are a little bigger in size than the one that i have on the bike now, is that ok?

what do you mean the links are bigger? if the individual links are longer the chain will not fit; it will just bind up on the back sprocket. Or do you mean they are wider? If they are wider they will still fit...

i know they are wider, and maybe a little taller, ill check on the length

He might mean the side plates are a full oval instead of wasp wasted, if that makes sense?
