Happy New Year!

Good morning all! Hope no one is regretting last night's activities TOO much. Mine were fairly low key.

What are everyone's resolutions? Mine are the same as every other year:

1.) Get in shape
a.) Get bad knee back to 100%
b.) Arms/shoulders/upper body
c.) Endurance

2.) Practice more and train harder
a.) Get corner speed up
b.) Practice starts!
c.) Work on jump timing

3.) Write more articles

How did we all do on LAST year's resolutions? I think I did ok. I have let it go recently, but kept up the running and weight lifting for most of the year. I have had a few articles published. I didn't race much but I did notice a HUGE improvement in my riding. I didn't really write down solid, definite resolutions last year though.

Glad to hear you had a good one Sharla!

I never make resolutions.. However, I do plan on riding more, crashing less, staying healthy and getting into better shape! I miss the days where I could race 20 minute motos, instead of racing for 10 and riding in survival mode for the last 10.

AND.. Balance my budget!! I worked a lot of overtime in December so I hope to get my credit cards paid off this month and keep them at 0 until this time next year!

Oh, and DW03.. It's only 9 months away! :yeehaw:

i resolve to detroy all those who have ever contemplated my demise,with glee. to expose all those who would see my demise with glee, then destroy them. get skinny,scratch skinny, crack whooores are skinny, get in shape, learn to ride mx and destroy twinny for cracking on my kickstand. shove one tear off up paddy's @$$ at DW03,then have mikeb monitor the biodregradability process. i resolve to shoot thump in his grapes with a paint ball gun at DW03. spend all my spare time in the reflective self realization process that all those who avoid me,hate me, those who interact with me are activley planning my homicide, and all those i've never met are all in a conspiracey against me and the forces of good. i resolve to become BLAZEOR at moments of terror and distress to save the day. i resolve to use more profanity and, well F#@% the rest of this s#!^ none of your GOD_d@##$ bussiness.

Oh My! I hope you don't mean me Sarge, I would hate to have to try to remember all the medivac procedures get your behind out of the woods after one of your misshaps with an interesting hill. :p

Firecracker ditto those resolutions , Mitchell a balancing act on the finances for sure . Keep working in a weak economy , the contruction business is like the stock market . Up and down , down lately. CRASH hmmmmmm ??????..

You mentioned "Paddy" a well known Irish slur made popular in the 1800's by the Boston Police Dept. refering to the wagon they used to haul off drunk Irishmen hence 'Paddy Wagon.' since there are only two folks on here with "Irish" in their names I figgered you where referring to me. LOL
Guess my platoon daddy is talking of some other person of Irish decent.

My head hurts and I swear I have puked three times as much as I have drank or eaten in the last two days. You know the bright yellow stuff that comes from the bottom of your gut. I swear that stuff glows in the dark. When I was driving home this morning I saw two huge turkeys sitting on a high wire, did a double take and thought to myself I must still be drunk! O yeah, Happy New Year everyone!

I ended up having a bunch of drinks I otherwise wouldn't have last night due to shortage of good old brewskis. I swear Smirnoff Ice should come with a pink bow.....man that stuff is fruity! My resolution? Get a new bike!

I resolve to not have a mouth full of my favorite beverage when I read one of Sarge's posts. It usually ends up spewed all over the monitor.

I resolve to learn a new language, particularly sargeisms. Then, hopefully, I'll be able to read his posts without getting a headache and they'll make sense to me. ;)

Upon further reflection, I'd like to amend/update my resolutions.

Sometime in the near or far future, I'd like to:

Jump a triple

Marry Vin Diesel

Race a National

Learn to play guitar, and start an angry girl rock band

Get another tattoo

Meet every possible pro rider--and date the cute single ones

Own 5 more bikes

Get a street bike

Attend more racing schools--including car racing schools, and that stunt driving school.

Boy, that's a tough choice. I'm not really sure. Maybe I'll start a harem.

Bsmith, how was 7 mile? Was the ground frozen? Was it worth going out there? I haven't ridden in too long, was thinking of heading out on Saturday (so I'm nice and sore for snowboarding on Sunday).
