what do I need for these? Do I need a CCC liscense for all of them or just the ones that say CCC next to them. Also what about D-14 or AMA?

To ride the Hare Scrambles and Enduros you will need to join AMA (and possibly Dist. 14). The Enduros will involve riding on the road, so to be legal you need to have your drivers license.

The CCC events do require that you join that organization. They obtain permits for the limited amount of road riding required to participate.

Have fun!!

To race hare scrambles you will need to sign up for AMA ($39) (www.ama-cycle.org) and district 14 (www.ama-d14.org) ($12). After that you should pick a clas to race in. Most of the info needed is at www.d14harescrambles.org (rules, etc.). At www.ama-d14.org you can get the HS shedule by itself. Then, on April 27 when and if you go to the first race you will buy a bar code for scoring your laps ($5). Then, all you have to do is ride. (priceless :) )

Racer#213,

I have just looked at your profile and was wondering if you're riding your 100?

Yes. You would ride in the "W" class. I'm not quite sure though. To race HS you don't need to be road legal or have a spark arrestor. Since you will be riding a 100 you will ride in the morning with the small bikes (nothing over 125cc 4-stroke). http://www.d14harescrambles.org/Rules/Hare_Scrambles_Rules/hare_scrambles_rules.html Go here and print out the whole thing and read it over carefully. It will tell you how everything works in HS and what you need to do.
