in order to fide in hawaii at kahuku, do u need riding boots or can it be any type of boots?

That was quick - funny ;) You're right - no rules in Hawaii for riding attire - barely any rules for being legal on or off the road at all. Especially in Kahuku, Maui. However, Tourism and the Haole invasion has changed Kahuku into a thriving meca of congested and sight-seeing driving. The attire is typically swimsuit/tank top/slippas - so if on the road, splurge for some pants as well :cool:

You'll need riding boots only if you wanna ride the main track. Normal boots will be ok on the trails.
