Im not so sure were the Welston campground is. But the West Michigan Trail Ridders (I am a member) will be at Lincoln Hills doing trail maintance Saturday morning. Keep an eye out for us (try not to run us over) as we will be out with saws and hammers repairing the winters damage to the trails.

I rode Little Manistee a few weeks back and the single was way better than I thought it would be. Try the connector trails that cross over in the middle of the loop. Some nice trail in there.

Thanks,

Jonathan,
I will be riding and camping in that neighborhood this weekend. Never rode Lincoln Hills before, but did a little riding in the past year at Little Manistee and quite a few times at Tin Cup. Both of these trails have parking lots on Kings Highway about five miles apart. Little Manistee trail head is on Kings Hwy near 3 mile road. You can also camp there for $10.00 a night (no electric) There is a gas/convenience store across the street known as Carryville. Little Manistee does connect to Lincoln Hills, Just never took that route before, none of my riding friends seem to like it.
For Tin cup go about five miles farther south on Kings hwy, the trail head is on the left side near a sharp right turn in the road. We will be camping near the Tin Cup trail located off of a forest road (about 2 miles before the trail head). It is free to camp here but it is primitive camping with no rest rooms. I expect to be at little Manistee around noon Friday to do a loop or two, then I will move over to Tin Cup for the rest of the week end. I will be driving a Silver Ford F-150 and rideing a KDX-220. Come and ride with us if you like, maybe I'll see you there...
