Hey everyone, this is probably a dumb question but... Im 5-7" tall and would feel more comfortable on my 03 YZ 250 if I could reach with something other than my one big toe, lol... is there any way of lowering this bike without adversely affecting the suspension? Ive read that Carmichael has his lowered...how is that done? Thanks in advance for any help!

shaving your seat foam down and lowering the sub-frame are the only two ways i know of, with out changing (i.e. reducing preload, moving forks up in clamps, or shortening springs) any suspension settings.

Some of the KDX dudes have lowered bikes for wives, short riders, stuff like that... there are a couple of ways to do it. I would fire off a search over there, its been hashed out pretty good. I know I wished I had a lowered KDX when I was riding that beast. 125 fits just right though!
