I rtecently just bought a kx 80 from a garage sale.. naturally it has no title only bill of sale.. i have no clue as to what the year of the bike is.. can anyone help out from the vin number or engine casting number? here they are

Im not positive but i think that you have to many digits in your vin #, there are only supposed to be 17. If you go to the kawasaki site, i beleive there is a place "vehicle information" that you can type in the vin # and get information on it. Its worth a shot.:think Thats how i got parts diagrams for a buddy of mine.

That motor # is from a 1987

Is it not stamped on the steering head? All bikes should have their birthyear stamped on the steering head along with the VIN number.

paid 300 bucks needs clutch
