Hi can somebody tell me which way the long oilscreen is fitted on a
rfs motor the screen has 2 diferent diameter holes which hole goes into the case the large or small hole i am getting diferent anwers from diferent dealers can sombody set me straight
The end with the larger opening goes in first. If you do it the other way you will become part of the "screen smashed accordion style" poster.
I use a long thin punch as a guide when replacing the screen and it slides right in place. In other words, I slide the screen over the punch, then after I get the punch lined up in the engine case the screen just slides in place.
