help please

hey all what'up?
im new in here and kinnda new the dirt as well.
been riding street for a few years
had to stop bc it was getting out of hand, so here i am looking to get in to riding dirt.
so the question im looking to do mostly track should i go 2 or 4 stroke?
please feel free to elaborate
and is 2 stroke a hard time to maintain properly?
