I just bought a 2004 YZ 250 from a guy, and he had been running Golden Spectro synthetic in it. I cannot find this oil anywhere in my area, so I have bought some Yamalube 2-R and have switched over to it. I have poured the new gas with the Yamalube into the bike with some of the old gas that had the Golden Spectro still mixed in it, from the other guy still in the gas tank. Will this hurt anything. I guess both are synthetic. Should I have done this. What should I do now?

I don't think one tank of mixed brands will hurt anything. But, I wouldn't have done it. Not for any particular reason other than I get a little OCD about stuff like that. If you have any doubts, drain it and run it in the mower, and put in a fresh mix of the 2R. If you do change it out, you can drain your bowl of the Golden Spectro mix, too.
