I have cooked the battery on my Husaberg and thought I would ask you what I should look for in a replacement. A strong battery is a must for this bike or it won't spin the starter fast enough to make spark. It appears that Yuasa (sp.) is what most carry, any other brands to consider? Thanks for your suggestions!

Good site but all of these are too big for a dirt bike. The most important thing is to put a new battery into service correctly. This means putting in acid, waiting an hour and topping up the acid. Then it has to be charged slowley for the recommended time according to the amp size. Then you can maximize its life. Using a battery tender when parked will also extend the life expectancy.

Sorry about the inappropriate sizing. My buddy with a dual-sport just chucked out all his wet-cell lead acid worries by getting one, but it was a big 650 with a big battery compartment.
