Shift shaft for a 1991 KDX200

Hi guys I have a bit more info on what I am after now so I thought that I would edit my original post.
I am still trying to track down a shift shaft, I cannot find one for my 1991 KDX200.
So I was wondering does anyone know if a shaft from another year might fit?
And also does anyone know if a KX shaft would fit because they look similar?
Also from what I understand I need to pull off the clutch cover & clutch and take off a linkage and then the shaft should be ready to come off.

Hi mate,

Go on Preloved and search for KDX200. Theres a guy on there breaking an engine and has lots of parts.
I got a load of stuff from him just recently...
