High Desert

Just dropping in to say hello to everyone I'm new to the forum and I live in the high desert. I ride a Yamaha yz450 and love it. I also have a yz426 2001 in perfect condition for sale for 3200 if anyone is looking. I have not ridden in cal city yet mostly just the local high desert areas. I just bough my wife a 2005 Z400 and it's awesome, just kinda wish I would have gotten the 450 cause of the wider front A arms but hey it's still an awesome bike! If anyone knows any other good riding areas in the AV high desert please let me know, thanks.:ride:

Hey socal_yz450, I live in Oak Hills and will let you know when I go out riding next time if your interested. Ill be riding with my teenage daughter and son these coming holidays and your more than welcome to come along when we do. The kids can ride decently well.

We usually ride Stoddard but have been known to ride, Red Mountain, El Mirage, Johnson valley and Lucerne. Of course after riding Cal City that will definately be a part of our new riding area.

I usually go riding west of Lancaster/Quartz Hill/Rosamond. I have wanted to check out Cal City for awhile but still waiting to make that trip. I have three boys that I take with me along with my wife. We are thinking about getting a quad for the two older boys to share:ride: . What do you guys ride:aj: ?
