Wrap it around the sparkplug cap. If it had instructions, it would say to wrap it around the plug wire a couple of times, but that doesn't work on the CRF250. It has to be wrapped around the round, rubber portion of the cap, just beneath the square section. One or two times around will do it, then just twist the wire around itself to hold it in place. It doesn't hurt to use a zip tie to secure it.
